Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Professional Civil Engineer with expertise in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, and/or Environmental Engineering to join our team. Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, handling a variety of projects with changing requirements.
- Engineering Knowledge: Apply your knowledge of stormwater management, geotechnical quality assurance testing, watershed design, and construction inspection to ensure project success.
- Client Development: Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and professional service.
- Deliverables and Quality: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards in accordance with the contracted scope, schedule, and budget.
- Regulatory Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with clients and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Fieldwork: Perform occasional fieldwork and out-of-town assignments as necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with proven project management skills.
- Licenses: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana is required. PE license in Kentucky is a plus.
- Certifications: INDOT Stormwater Quality Manager or CPESC certifications are a plus.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively at all organizational levels.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD or GIS, with a strong understanding of construction estimating, construction management, and civil engineering principles.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
