Position Summary
Perform installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of construction equipment according to plans, specifications, and industry standards. Ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and complies with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Technical Work: Read and interpret plans, use tools for repairs, and perform maintenance on equipment.
- Documentation: Record equipment conditions, schedule services, and maintain equipment files.
- Support: Assist operators with Daily Walkaround Reports and generate accurate Equipment Locators.
- Maintenance: Ensure equipment is clean, properly fueled, and ready for the next assignment. Document with Off-Hire Reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools safely.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Requirements
- Meet physical demands, including climbing and working at heights (up to 200 ft) and in confined spaces.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be available for overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Comply with safety and project rules.
