Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager with a strong grasp of HR policies and procedures. This role is integral in managing employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and refining HR systems and processes, with a keen ability to connect with people and handle the dynamic nature of today's workforce with a detail-oriented approach.
Objectives of This Role
- Process Improvement: Oversee and refine employee standards and procedures, leveraging existing HR systems while recommending and implementing improved processes.
- Benefits Management: Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and vacation policies.
- Recruitment & Orientation: Assist with recruitment efforts and prepare employees for their roles through effective orientation and training programs.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to national and local HR regulations by conducting investigations and maintaining accurate records.
- Procedure Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale-building initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Support: Collaborate with departments to develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with overall business objectives.
- HR Activities Management: Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences, resolving employee grievances, training managers on coaching and disciplinary actions, and providing counseling to employees and supervisors.
- Onboarding Champion: Enhance the onboarding process to ensure it is high-quality and up-to-date, providing clarity and connection for employees so their roles align with the business vision.
- Policy Development: Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
- External Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.
- Confidentiality: Handle confidential matters with discretion and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in human resources or employee recruitment.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ethical mindset.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of national HR-related laws and regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- HR Software: Familiarity with HR software.
