Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead and manage our client’s restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, have a strong background in restaurant management, and excel in creating a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a diverse team. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high standards of customer service. Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant’s budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures. Analyze financial reports and develop strategies to boost profitability.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and minimizing waste. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Stay updated with industry standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers. Coordinate special events and promotions to enhance visibility and customer engagement.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that menu items meet quality expectations.
  • Technology Utilization: Use restaurant management software and POS systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, including at least 2 years in a General Manager role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a customer-centric environment.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to manage difficult situations, resolve conflicts, and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
